Dr. Tobey grew up in Gettysburg PA  and obtained her BS in Biology at Messiah College followed by Medical School at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine(LECOM). She completed a rotating osteopathic internship at the Heart of Lancaster Regional medical center (formerly known as Lancaster community osteopathic) where she was recognized as intern of the year by both the pediatrics and internal medicine departments. She then went to Penn State Hershey  Children’s Hospital  to complete  her Pediatric residency.  After residency she relocated to the New River Valley and was excited to join the staff at APCA as a full time pediatrician.
